Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
